Hi everyone! Welcome to my little corner of the internet :)

I'm a native New Yorker, mother of two, and a documentary family photographer.

Because I'm constantly fielding questions: 'Documentary photographer' is another way of saying that I photograph real life. I choose to let people be without directing how families should behave, or what they should be doing in any way. I photograph this way because there’s nothing better than your reality (even if it doesn’t always feel that way)— and I want you to be able to hold space and remember it for what it is.

When I make photos for clients, I make the type of images that become more valuable over time. The photos tell the story of how you spend your time together, and how much you really mean to each other (without all the glitz), so that you can take a look back and appreciate just how sweet life was in this very moment.

Tova is a twelve-time Feature Shoot Print Swap winner. Her work has been exhibited at NYC’s Photoville in Brooklyn Bridge Park, and she was the first place winner of the Konversai photo competition. Her work has been featured in various online publications including The Huffington Post, Love, Inc. Magazine, Birth Becomes Her, & Spectrum Inspired.
